The
Deaths of Henry Bell and Agnes Forgie
Henry Bell
died between 9 pm and 11 pm on 22 November 1875. This was
at Falkirk Poor House, which is odd as his wife was still
living, possibly with their son. The cause of death was
'congestion of the brain and lungs', as certified by James
E...., Surgeon, 'who attended the deceased about 30 hours
before death and saw him shortly before death and afterwards
made a post mortem.'
Agnes Forgie died at 8.45 pm on 26 March 1880, the cause
of death 'cirrhosis of the liver three months' as certified
by David Haig. |
