MR C BINNIE
The death occurred at the home of his daughter, 24 Freeman Road, on Wednesday last week, of Mr Christopher Binnie.

Aged 83, he was a retired pattern moulder and was formerly employed at Planet Foundry. He formerly resided in Oxford Road. The funeral was on Monday. Committal was at Dukinfield Crematorium and services conducted by Rev S P Whitehouse.

Mourners: Mrs and Mrs T Newton, Mrs C Brough, Mrs L Kenyon, Mr and Mrs T Binnie, Mr J Binnie, Mr and Mrs H Binnie, Mrs J Peake, Mr and Mrs Porter, Mr and Mrs B Duncan, Mrs M Wilkinson, Mrs M Fitton and Mrs R Newton.

Representing the Planet Foundry: Mr W Ratcliffe. Also attending were Mr C B Campbell, Mr Duncan, Mrs Palfreyman, Miss Burns, Mrs Rhodes, Miss Ward, Mrs Goddard, Mrs Porter and Mrs Warburton.

Floral tributes: Relatives, friends and neighbours of Oxford Road and Foundry Street.
