Marriage of James Binnie and Mary Bell
James and Mary married on Friday, 29 October 1875, at Falkirk Manse according to the forms of the Church of Scotland. James was a 21 year old bachelor and lived at Grahamston, Falkirk. He was an iron moulder, as had been his father, Christopher, although he was deceased. His mother's maiden name was Jane Smith. Mary was a 20 year old spinster and she lived at Lint Rigg, Falkirk. She was a dress maker and her father, Henry, was a smith. Her mother's maiden name was Agnes Forgie. The witnesses were Robert Liddell and Janet Callander.
