Death
of Martha Wild
Martha Chatterton died on Wednesday,
10 September 1862, at Canal
Street, Dukinfield (now Stalybridge). She was 82 years
old and was the widow of Edward Chatterton,
a cotton spinner. The cause of death was senelis, not certified.
The informant was Martha's daughter, Mary
Waterhouse, (X her mark) who was present at the death
and who lived at 25 Cross Leech
Street, Dukinfield.
