Gorton Monastery

The Monastery of St Francis in Gorton. A truly splendid building, officially included with the Taj Mahal as one of the most 'to be preserved structures' in the world. Despite the obvious disrepair, it is being conserved and hopefully Lottery money will restore its grandeur. A photograph cannot convey the scale of this place.
My reward is to drive past it every day to work!
