Frank and Sarah married on 20 January 1895 at St George's, Hyde. Frank was a 20 year old bachelor who worked as a piecer in the cotton industry. He lived at 118 George Street West, Hyde and his father Robert, also worked in cotton as a minder. Sarah was a 21 year old spinster and lived at 24 Helen Street, Hyde. Her father, Joseph, was a stonemason and the witnesses were Frank's brother, Joseph, and his future wife, Hannah Hadley.
