Marriage of Harry CRABTREE and Mary Ellen WOOLLAM
St Michael's

Harry CRABTREE married Mary Ellen WOOLLAM at St Michael and All Angels Church, Ashton-under-Lyne, on 17 January 1892. Harry was a 23 year old bachelor, living at Mossley Road, Ashton. He worked as a hatter, as did his father, Samuel CRABTREE. Mary was a 21 year old spinster and also lived on Mossley Road. It is possible that Harry was living there temporarily to avoid paying for two lots of banns to be read. Her father was Henry Booth WOOLLAM, a collier.
