Marriage
of Samuel Crabtree and Alice Wardle
Samuel CRABTREE married Alice
WARDLE on 13 August 1866 at St Paul's Church in Stockport,
Cheshire. He was a bachelor of 'full age' living within
the parish. He worked as a hatter, as did his father, James.
Alice was a spinster, also of full age and living in the
parish. Her father, Joseph was a carter. Samuel could sign
his name, but Alice couldn't. The witnesses were Samuel
TURNER and Joseph WHITEHEAD and the vicar was Jeremiah COOMBES.
