Here was buried Nelly, the daughter of John Goddard of Mottram, who died October 22nd 1777 in the 7th year of her age. Also Alice, his wife, was buried March 20th 1778 in the 36th year of her age.
Also the above John Goddard who died April 18th 1818 in his 77th year. Also Betty, his wife, who died March 29th 1823 aged 75 years.
Also Miles Goddard, their son, who died July 8th 1850 in the 64th year of his age. Also of Peggy, his wife, who died December 27th 1870 aged 80 years.
Also of John Goddard, their son, who departed this life January 19th 1875 aged 62 years. Also of Martha, his wife, who departed this life 24th July 1848 aged 33 years
