Marriage of John Greenwood and Fanny Middleton
John and Fanny married on Monday, 23 April 1900, at St Michael and All Angels, Mottram. John was a 27 year old bachelor living in Mottram and both he and his father, John, were labourers. Fanny was a 24 year old spinster also living in Mottram. She was a winder (cotton) and her father, William, was deceased, but he had been a mechanic. The witnesses were Thomas Alfred Nuttall and Charlotte Smith.
