Marriage of Arthur Harrop and Alice Marshall
When Arthur Harrop married Alice Marshall on 7 December 1910, he was a 25 year old bachelor and worked as a beamer. He lived at 12 Olive Terrace, Broadbottom and his father, George, was a joiner. Alice was a 24 year old spinster and lived at 26 Stalybridge Road, Mottram. Her father, George, was an ex-sergeant of police. The witnesses were Alice's sister, Sissie, and Arthur's cousin, Thomas.
