of George Henry Booth HARROP and Hannah THORPE
When George
Henry Booth HARROP married at St Stephen's Church
on 20 January 1878, he was a 20 year old bachelor living
in Audenshaw. Both he and his father, Samuel,
were joiners. Hannah THORPE
was also aged 20 and was a weaver. She too lived in Audenshaw
and was the daughter of Ben THORPE, a stone mason. Both
she and George could sign their names. The witnesses were
Joseph and Mary Sellers. |
