John
and Ellen married on Wednesday,
21 July 1886 at St Michael and All Angels, Ashton. He was
a 24 year old bachelor and lived in Ashton and she was a
23 year old spinster also living in Ashton. John
was a cabinet maker and his father, Samuel, was a joiner,
while Ellen didn't give an occupation.
Her father Thomas was deceased at this time, although this
was not recorded, but gave his accupation as a blacksmith.
The witnesses were Robert Harrison and Ellen's
sister Christina. |
