Marriage of Eliza Higginbotham and William Turner
Eliza and William married on Tuesday, 3 December 1850, at St Michael and All Angels, Mottram. Eliza was a 23 year old spinster and lived in Newton. She worked as a weaver and did not name her father, persumably because he was deceased. William was also 23 years old and a bachelor living in Newton. He worked as a spinner and his father, Thomas, was a hatter. The witnesses were John and James Cooper.
