Marriage of Joseph Higginbotham and Elizabeth Wilkinson
Joseph and Elizabeth married on Monday, 19 May 1845, at St Mary's Church, Stockport. Joseph was a bachelor of full age and lived in Hyde. He was a collier and his father, John, was a hatter. Elizabeth was a spinster and a minor and also lived in Hyde. She gave no occupation and her father, Lawrence, was a butcher. Joseph could sign his name, but Elizabeth could not. The witnesses were Thomas Wood and James Wild.
