Marriage of John Hiland and Ann Hillson
John and Ann married on Sunday, 24 December 1854, at St Michael and All Angels, Ashton. Both were of full age and lived in Ashton. John was a weaver and his father, Thomas, was a hatter. Ann gave no occupation and her father, Robert, was a carter. The witnesses were Thomas and Jane Newton.
