Marriage of Elizabeth Howarth and Samuel Ashburn
Elizabeth and Samuel married on Monday, 19 August 1867, at St John's Church, Dukinfield. Elizabeth was a spinster of full age and lived in Ashton. She gave no occupation and her father, Joseph, was a twister. Samuel was a bachelor also of full age and living in Ashton. He was a hatter and his father, George, was a carrier. The witnesses were Elizabeth's father and sister, Joseph and Sarah.
