Extract from the North Cheshire Herald - 2 January 1953

The death of Mr E Molesdale occurred on December 24th. He was 70 years of age and resided at 45 Back Bower Lane, Hyde. Mr Molesdale was for many years employed by Hyde Corporation.

The interment was at Holy Trinity Church on Tuesday, the Rev P D Boulton officiating. The mourners were Mr and Mrs R Molesdale, Mr J Molesdale, Mr and Mrs A Crabtree, Mr J Whyatt, Mrs Ethel Hughes and Mr G Davidson. Mrs Molesdale, wife of the deceased, was unable to attent owing to her being in hospital. Mr E Fowden of Hamnett Street, Hyde, was in charge of the funeral arrangements
