Extract from the North Cheshire Herald - 16 December 1966

The death occurred on Tuesday, December 6, of Mrs Lena Molesdale of 79 Mottram Old Road, Gee Cross, aged 82. Mrs Molesdale, who resided with her daughter and son-in-law, was the widow of the late Mr Edward Molesdale and is survived by two daughters and a son.

Prayers were held at the home, prior to service and interment at Holy Trinity Church. The vicar, the Rev T S McCann, officiated.

Mourners: Mr and Mrs R Molesdale, Miss Lynne Whyatt, Miss Hilary Crabtree, Mr Alfred Wildgoose, Mrs Emily Dyson. Present in church, Mr and Mrs Ridgway and Mrs Johnson.

Floral tributes were received from the family, relatives, friends and neighbours. Messrs B Armitage (Hyde) Ltd had charge of the arrangements.
