Marriage of Isaiah MOLESDALE and Sarah CHATTERTON

Isaiah MOLESDALE married Sarah CHATTERTON at the Weslayan Methodist Chapel in Ashton-under-Lyne on 3 August 1846. He was a widower aged 29 and lived at Brook Street, Ashton. He gave his occupation as Dresser and the father's name and occupation were left blank. Sarah was a spinster aged 35 and living at 31 Canal Street, Stalybridge. (Multimap) Her father was Edward CHATTERTON, a Cotton Spinner. Both Isaiah and Sarah could sign their names. The witnesses were John EDGERLEY and Ann CHATTERTON and the ceremony was performed by John BELL.
