
“The wagonette was a favourite vehicle for an outing
and these men, complete with buttonholes, are resdy to
enjoy their trip. Perhaps they were from the Liberal Club,
whose premises, complete with flagpole, are behind them.
A wagonette service was run by Miles
Rhodes, who took regular trips to Belle Vue for 6d.
For some this trip was their annual holiday.”
