On 8 June 1906,
this team of ringers added yet another record to
those set by the Mottram ringers throughout the
19th century. They rang Mr E TIMBRELL's peal of
Kent Treble Bob Major, consisting of 16,680 changes,
in nine hours and 40 minutes.
Two of the ringers may be relatives. Second left,
front row, is Joseph
GODDARD, while second right, back row is John
HARRISON, who married Chalotte
RHODES.
