The Late Mrs Rhodes
On Sunday night, at Hyde Road Church, a special service in memory of the late Mrs George Rhodes was numerously attended, the congregation including many relatives of the deceased lady. The pastor, Rev P Hall, during his sermon, made reference to the passing of Mrs Rhodes, who had been a member of the church and school all her life. Special hymns were sung, and Mr George Hobson capably rendered the solo "Into Thy Hands." Mr J Sidebottom junr. presiding at the organ.
