Marriage of George RHODES
and Charlotte BENNETT
George
Rhodes married Charlotte Bennett on 18 December 1882
at the Old Chapel Unitarian Church, Dukinfield Cheshire.
He was 39 years old and said he was a bachelor, although
he was in fact a widower, having previously been married
to Emily Ramsbottom. He gave his occupation as coal miner
and Mottram as his place of residence. His father was
also called George Rhodes and was a carrier.
Charlotte was a 30 year old spinster and also gave Mottram
as her place of residence. She was a cotton frame tenter
and her father was Simpson
Bennett, a stone mason. The Minister was G Hamilton
Vance. There were no witness signatures. |
