was a bachelor of 'full age' when he married Emily
RAMSBOTTOM at St Paul's Church in Stalybridge. He was
a miner living in Staley, the son of Geogre of the same
occupation. Emily was a weaver whose father, William, was
a printer. George could not sign his name and the witnesses
