Will of
Matthew Rhodes
This is the last will and testament of me, Matthew
Rhodes, Farmer of Mottram in the County of Chester.
I give and bequeath half my household furniture whatsoever
to my daughter, Tabitha Rhodes,
for her sole use and purpose. The rest of my property,
incomes and all securities in my possession at my decease
to be left in the hands of my executors to be kept on
as here to be and the rents, easements and all income
whatsoever to be equally divided between my son, Goddard
Rhodes, my daughter, Tabitha
Rhodes, and my grandchild, Mary
Rhodes Bradley, to and for their own use and benefit
absolutely.
And I nominate, constitute
and appoint Goddard Rhodes and Tabitha
Rhodes to be executors of this my will. In witness
thereof, I the said Matthew Rhodes
have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand the
24th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and ninety six.
