Death of Tabitha INGHAM

Tabitha died on 11 October 1848 in Mottram. She was aged 58 and was described as the wife of John RHODES, miner, although it is assumed that she had been a widow for some time. The cause of death was a fever, not certified, and the informant was her son, Matthew RHODES who was in attendance. This was presumably a difficult time for her son George, since his mother died less than a month after his wife, Margaret.
