Marriage of Charles Ridgway and Emma Ann Howard
Charles Ridgway married Emma Ann Howard at St Mark's Church, Bredbury on 19 November 1871. Both were of "full age."

Charles was a bachelor of "this parish" and his father Jonathan was a miner, as was Charles.

Emma was also of "full age" and a spinster of this parish. Her father, Joseph, was a weaver.

Charles could sign his name, but Emma could not. The witnesses were James Davis (X his mark), presumably a friend and Charles' sister, Jemima Ridgway.
