Marriage of James Henry Rodgway Howard and Mary Jane Walker
James and Mary married on Sunday, 30 July 1893, at Christ Church, Ashton. James was a 22 year old bachelor and lived at Jackson Street, Ashton. He was a collier, as was his father Charles. Mary was a 23 year old spinster and also lived at Jackson Street. She gave no occupation and her father, Samuel, was a collier. James could sign his name, but Mary could not. The witnesses were Ernest Pearson and Jane Howard.
