Death of Rebecca Higginbotham
Rebecca died on 9 July 1870 at the Cotton Tree Buildings, Newton, Hyde. She was aged 47 and was the wife of Jonathan Ridgway, a coal miner. The cause of death was enteritis certified. The informant was Joseph Crossley, present at the death and also living at the Cotton Tree Buildings.
