Marriage of Ada Stanley and Norman Benjamin Pigot
Ada and Norman married on Monday, 4 February 1918, at St Michael and All Angels, Ashton. Ada was a spinster of full age and lived at 35 Oldham Road, Ashton. She gave no occupation and her father, Thomas, was deceased, but had been a house furnisher. Norman was a bachelor of full age and lived at 160 Princess Road, Moss Side, Manchester. He gave private area employment co as his occupation and his father, Thomas Henry Pigot, was a provision dealer. The witnesses were J Wilson and A Davis and the service was conducted by F H Burrows, Vicar of Christ Church, Ashton.
