Marriage of Fanny Stanley and Roger Williamson
Fanny and Roger married on Sunday, 1 October 1854, at St Stephen's Church, Audenshaw. Fanny was a 23 year old spinster and lived in Aidenshaw. She was a weaver and her father, Thomas, was a hatter. Roger was a 22 year bachelor and also lived in Audenshaw. He was a carter and his father, Thomas, was a blacksmith. Both could sign their names. The witnesses were Samuel Heap and Roger's sister, Mary Ann.
