Marriage of Jonathan Walker and Elizabeth Greenhalgh

Jonathan WALKER married Elizabeth GREENHALGH at Manchester Cathedral on 31 March 1847. Jonathan was a bachelor of 'full age' and lived in Gorton, working as a coal miner. His father, Aaron, was a weaver. Elizabeth also lived in Gorton and her father, James was described as a 'twister in'. Neither could write and the witnesses were Elizabeth WALKER and John LONGWORTH.
