Marriage of Jonathan
Walker and Elizabeth Greenhalgh
Jonathan
WALKER married Elizabeth GREENHALGH
at Manchester Cathedral on 31 March 1847. Jonathan was
a bachelor of 'full age' and lived in Gorton, working
as a coal miner. His father, Aaron,
was a weaver. Elizabeth also lived in Gorton and her father,
James was described as a 'twister in'. Neither could write
and the witnesses were Elizabeth WALKER and John LONGWORTH.
